Camera Bracket Finder Cloud Dome

Cloud Dome has a bracket to fit almost all the digital cameras on the market. There are three types of digital cameras available.

Point and Shoot Compact Digital Cameras
Universal 62mm opening Cloud Dome
Consumer-level digital cameras are compact, lightweight and easiest to use. Great for point-and-shoot photo-taking, offer plenty of scene modes. The image quality from a point and shoot digital camera is generally good enough for common uses, such as auction photos, and even 4 X 6 prints. There are excellent Point and Shoot cameras that work great with the Cloud Dome.

If your camera looks like this you will need the Universal Bracket.
The cameras that fit the Universal Bracket have a lens that is 52mm or smaller and fits in the palm of your hand. Please email or call with questions.

Semi Professional Digital Cameras
Pro "L" Bracket with 62mm opening Cloud Dome
These digital cameras have high quality lenses and advanced features for creative control. They have more bells and whistles than your point and shoot cameras and they accept accessories and add-ons including converter lenses, filters, remote controls and external flashes. The resolution is between 5 to 12 megapixels and the image quality is good enough to produce clear prints up to about 8 x10.

You will need the Pro Universal Bracket if you have a camera similar to these. The lens size is from 52mm to 62mm and extends from two to four inches from the camera.

Digital Single Lens Reflex Cameras- 82mm Dome and Pro "L" Bracket
DSLR cameras, used by professionals and photo enthusiasts, are top-of-the-line. These cameras are like mini computers and have outstanding optics, produce high resolution images and accept interchangeable lenses and sophisticated accessories. They function automatically but also have a full range of manual controls. Digital SLR cameras are very similar in operation to a 35 mm SLR. Camera companies (such as Cannon and Nikon) have built their digital SLR models to be compatible with 35 mm SLR lenses.

If you have a camera similar to these you will need the 82mm opening dome and Pro "L" bracket. These SLR digital cameras need the larger bracket and base plate to stablize the camera.
